ABOUT PAUL
Paul has always appreciated art both as a competitor of many art competitions and as a student of art. His early schooling included special magnet art classes in middle school and high school as well as classes at the "Ft Worth Childrens Museum". Also at a young age, Paul often enjoyed visiting all three of the world class art museums on the West Side of Ft Worth, Texas. One of the commentators for this show is Cheryl Hubenak. an artist, art teacher and Aunt to Paul mentoring him through the years in art and her knowledge of art history.
Paul went to college with the help of several art scholarships having continued his art and art history education at Tarrant County College and University of Texas at Arlington. Previously on August 12, 2012, Paul had an opening to a one month show titled "A Study in Paper and Powder" at the Arlington Museum of Art.

A GREAT Thank You! goes to each of my influencers, dear friends, family and Show Commentators who have graciously contributed to this project.

DARLA LYON
Commentator and Professional Artist
Darla A. Lyon is an artist based in Fort Worth, Texas, which, as a fifth generation Texan, she is proud to call it as her home town. From an early age, her fascination with creating led her to experimenting in a wide variety of mediums. Her first commission was a pencil drawing at age 12. Fort Worth was in its early stages of becoming a city of art and culture and Darla took every opportunity to develop her skills from from first class museums and mentors. Her studies led to Studio Art and Graphic Design at TCU, obtaining a B.A in Art History UTA. Darla’s career developed while owning her own business, Lyon Design which offered graphic design, illustration, portraiture, commissions and murals. She had the opportunity to teach art in the public schools for several years. Her four children all gradated from college, two of which are pursuing their own careers in art. Always the realist, Darla is currently delving into the world of fine art, kindling her love for experimentation in bold, contrasting colors and styles while sharing experience of the beauty of botanicals. As a believer that art plays an essential role in humanity, her goal is to use her talents, education and experiences to be involved in the growing culture of art in Texas.
